About · Since the 1980s

We've been in Missoula longer than most of the homes we work in.

Four decades. One company through four chapters.

Burnich started in East Missoula in the 1980s as a millwork shop building high-end picture frames. Over four decades the work expanded into architectural trim and custom wood doors. In 2003, Cabinets Plus opened in Missoula and built an eighteen-year reputation for residential cabinetry that holds up. In 2021 Burnich joined Goodworks Evergreen and Cabinets Plus folded into the Burnich brand. In late 2023, a fire took the original East Missoula building — and rather than rebuild the picture frame, trim, and door lines, we focused the combined company on what we do best: cabinetry and countertops, designed and installed with care.

Forty years of Missoula craftsmanship; twenty years of cabinet operations; one company, one team, sharper focus.

The Burnich team

The people who do the work.

Many of the team came up through the trades in Missoula. You'll see the same faces from your first showroom visit through final installation.

The best decisions get made in person.

Samples in your hands. Drawer pulls you can actually pull. A Cabinet Specialist who's been doing this long enough to tell you what you'll regret in five years — and what you won't.
